When someone finds that perfect home to purchase, they're most likely going to get a home inspection. I've found the most common problem that comes up in the inspection is problems with the electric outlets.
- The outlet isn't grounded. Keep in mind, not all 3 prong outlets are grounded.
- The outlet is loose from yanking cords out and can now cause a fire.
- Too many extension cords going to one plug.
- They don't have a way to turn off the electricity if they get wet.
Everyone should look for these problems and correct them before they put their home onto the market.
